I have been on the founding/early team of three companies in wildly different areas of medicine - orthopedics (Zimmer Knee Creations), vascular access (Velano Vascular), and allergies (Lil Mixins). All three companies thrive by translating scientific breakthroughs into every day solutions.
I approach problems like an engineer (thanks Penn!), trying to find the right questions and the right models, rather than the answers. Then I break problems down like a parent (thanks kids!) until they are in understandable bites.
